Nerac Earth Cycling Club is a group of mountain and road riders of all levels that ride for pleasure and race for competition. We are based at Nerac, Inc. in Tolland, Connecticut where our club sponsor Kevin Bouley, Nerac owner and CEO, has reached out and inspired others to get on their bikes and ride, race, and promote cycling at all levels.
Our club was founded in March of 2006 and currently has over 80+ members. Membership applications are open to anyone that has interest in joining the club. Our goals are to promote cycling, maintain a positive representation of our sponsors, keep our members active in the cycling community, have fun, and recruit new members to the sport by sharing our enthusiasm. We are a health minded group who thrive on pushing ourselves and others to new levels on and off the bike in a positive manner. In particular, we like to introduce newer cyclists, of all ages and abilities to the camaraderie, growth and fun that can only happen when riding with a group of other cyclists that are willing to share their knowledge, support and experience.
We offer beginner mountain bike and road riding clinics dedicated to increasing skill level and confidence on the bike for new riders. Additionally we offer weekly intermediate and advanced mountain bike and road rides for the more experienced riders.
Nerac Earth Cycling Club is accepting new members. Our members are both recreational riders as well as competitive riders. We support our racers and all our riders in all their endeavors from triathlons, biathlons, adventure racing, trail running, road and mountain biking on all levels. Our focus is getting people out on their bikes to have a great time with like-minded people. We enjoy bringing our new riders up to speed and helping them improve their skills as much as we enjoy hammering out a fast paced road or mountain bike ride.
