What’s your #1 strength as a cyclist? I want to get better

Other than race, what are some of your other bike skills that would make any Mom proud? I used to be able to ride a pretty long wheelie!

How about skills off the bike?
Prior to riding I used to run marathons but ended up with a bad Achilles injury.

What gets you pumped up before a race? My heart

Fondest memory in a race? I loved the Wellsley college girls at the Boston Marathon.

How would you describe your sense of humor? It is a big part of who I am

What has been your finest moment in racing? The Boston Marathon

What has been your finest moment on two legs? Bringing my wife and daughter home after 2 months in the NICU out of state.

When you’re not on your bike, what do you like to do? Walk with my wife and daughter, watch baseball, landscape my yard.

Describe your best cycling memory: My best cycling memory goes back to being a kid because my bike was my freedom and I rode everywhere on it.
