Why did you start racing? Kevin made me do it!

Name your cycling mentors: Hans Rey

Name your favorite ride, to date: The Nemba Big River Ride in RI (9/26/2010) – So much fun!

Favorite view from a ride: Moab Rim Trail – it’s worth the hike a bike to the rim.

Who has influenced you the most in cycling? Kevin Breton – my first year racing he gave some great advice and invaluable tips to a newbie.

Where do you like to ride? West Hartford Reservoir, Bluff Point, Grayville, Moab

Fondest memory racing? The Root 66 Massasoit Lung Opener (4/24/2010).  My bike was on fire!!!!

Describe your best 24 hour race memory: Michael making Yoohoo slushies after each lap at the 2005 Dalton race.

Describe your worst 24 hour race memory: The pile of manure at the start of the never-ending climb at the same race.

When you’re not on your bike, what do you like to do? Run, Read, Hike, Snowshoe, drive my husband crazy

Favorite Movie Stars? John Travolta and Harrison Ford

Favorite song? It changes almost weekly but right now it’s Lover, Lover by Jerrod Niemann (yes, it’s a country song!!!)

Favorite Carb? Mac n Cheese (from Panera Bread) OMG!

What foods do you indulge in the most? Blueberries, chocolate

What’s the best perk about riding? The high you get when you clean something you didn’t think was possible.  Riding with people who have the same interests.  Not looking creepy in spandex because everyone else is wearing it too.

Name your ultimate upcoming biking moment: I would like to race the 2011 New Hampshire 100k…

Describe your best cycling memory: Talking with Hans Rey at Interbike Las Vegas.  I wasn’t stalking him.  Really!

Your perfect day? Weather is around 65 and sunny, we’re going someplace new, it’s far enough away that we can grab some quality coffee on the way, the parking lot is full of riders, we know them all, 5 minutes in you can shed your arm warmers, no mechanicals, no crashes, the trail is fast with berms and it’s so much fun you can’t help laughing out loud…

Got any nicknames? My dad calls me crazy Stephen, one of my co-workers calls me crash, another calls me Jilly Bean, my mom calls me Suzy             Q, my husband calls me chicken (maybe that’s because when he tells me to take the jump I always pretend not to see it!).

Favorite junk food? Natural Tostitos.  Ice Cream!
