Eight of us from the club and three from the pro team participated in the inaugural Big Y Jim Calhoun Cancer Challenge. There was a photo op with the coach and I will post a link to the pictures if they become available. It was raining during the opening inspirational speeches by Nancy Wyman, Jim Calhoun, Carolyn D. Runowicz, M.D. Director of The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and others and at the start of the event, but the rain soon cleared during the ride and a great time was had by all.
